Sleepovers are legit one of the BEST things ever, am I right? 🍕🍿Movies, snacks, staying up wayyy too late talking with your besties—it’s like a mini vacation. But let’s be real, there’s one thing that’s a total hassle when you’re crashing at someone’s place after a full glam night with full-beat makeup: taking OFF all that makeup before you knock out!

We’ve all been there… You’re so tired from hanging out that you just wanna flop into bed. BUT, here’s the thing: leaving all that makeup on your face while you sleep is a one-way ticket to waking up with breakouts (and nobody has time for that). Trust me, your skin will NOT forgive you. So, how about we make this easier? 🙌

I’ve got you covered with a super quick and simple post-makeup skincare routine that’ll have you fresh-faced and glowin’ in no time! Let’s get your skin all kinds of happy with a fast, sleepover-friendly routine, so you can get your beauty rest without wreaking havoc on your face.

Step 1: Makeup Wipes or Micellar Water (For When You’re Feeling THAT Lazy)

Okay, I get it. You’re probably surrounded by your friends in a PJs-and-karaoke-lullaby situation, and the LAST thing you wanna do is go into some three-hour skincare ritual (nope, bye ✌️).

This is where makeup wipes or micellar water save the day. These are your lazy-girl-besties that get the job done. Grab a makeup wipe or use a cotton pad with some micellar water and get started.

Just swipe your face gently and make sure you’re getting off the majority of your makeup. Will makeup wipes get everything off? Like, no, obviously it’s not a deep clean rinse…but we aren’t about that life at 1 a.m. tonight, right?

Even though we JUST attacked everything with wipes or micellar water, we need to give our skin a proper rinse with an actual face cleanser to make sure we’re not leaving any face makeup behind. (Trust me, those pores want to breathe, gurl.) Pick a gentle face wash so you’re not stripping your face right before bed.

Just splash some water on your face, lightly massage your fave cleanser all over your skin, and rinse it away. Ahhh, that’s better! This step will make you feel like a fresh-faced queen.

Toner helps balance your skin’s pH after cleansing, and it gets rid of any last bits of makeup that might still be hanging onto your face (cough evil mascara cough). Plus, it preps your skin for the juicy goodness that we’re about to smother it with.

Grab a cotton pad with some toner and swipe it all over your face, baby! I promise your skin will feel like it can breathe again. 💨
