Today, I’m serving up a bold yet cozy smokey eye tutorial — perfect for that autumn vibe, but with a little more oomph since we’re playing with rich, warm fall colors. Trust me, you’re gonna feel like a walking autumn goddess by the end of this tutorial. 🔥
Let’s go ahead and jump right in, because this look? You’ll probably want to wear it everywhere. 🍁🍂 You’ve been warned!
Step 1: The Base — Prep Your Lids

Here’s where the magic happens! Grab a darker matte shade: a deep chocolate brown, maroon, or even a dark burgundy (a total fall mood). I’m obsessed with using burgundy for this time of the year, but honestly, all three choices slap.
Using a smaller blending brush, pop that dark shade into the outer corner of your eye, focusing close to your lash line. Then, blend that bad boy up and into your crease, just below the transition shade, but not too high. We still want that fade like we’re transitioning into sweater weather. 😉
If it’s looking a lil’ too harsh, go back with your transition color and lightly blend the top edges of the smokey color to soften it up a bit. Fall is all about softness, but with some attitude, right?
